My experience with plants in Traditional Medicine
Since 2002, during my higher education, I began studying the psychoactive plants, cacti and fungi that have been part of the medical practices of various cultures. In 2014, I learn about Vegetalismo, a traditional medicine system originating from indigenous nations of the Peruvian Amazon, wich works with a wide range of plants that improve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Since then, I have attended various traditional “dietas” (retreats) in the rainforest, learning about the benefits of the plants from my personal experience and through the experiences shared by others.
